About the project
In December 2023, we worked with over 120 young Londoners over two days as part of the GLA’s first ever widespread youth consultation for the upcoming London Plan. Over the two days, students were invited to share their lived experience and vision for the city, and to model some of the solutions that would work towards making London a greener, healthier, and more equitable place to live.
Their creative suggestions for new spaces resulted in a lively and densely populated city model which was publicly displayed in the Building Centre until early 2024. All of the young people’s contributions across the two days were compiled into a comprehensive report that was shared with GLA to inform the London Plan, due for publication in 2026.
