What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear is advised – something you can move around in easily and don’t mind (potentially) getting dirty or paint on. Wearing layers is advised.
Is lunch provided?
For dietary and allergy reasons we do not provide lunch. Participants should provide their own lunch and snacks are recommended as each day will use up plenty of energy.
Will there be photos taken?
There will be photographs taken throughout the day as a record, which may later be published on the BUILD website. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please let us know before the day by ticking the box relevant on the Eventbrite sign up page. Not ticking this box gives permission for MATT+FIONA to use the images for promotion.
First Aid and Safety?
There will be at least two qualified first aiders present at all times. All staff are enhanced DBS checked and volunteers have undergone National Trust volunteer training. Children are always accompanied by staff.
Comprehensive risk assessments for all activities have been carried out and all necessary insurances are in place.
If your child has any specific allergies, intolerances or other specific needs, please let us know by filling-out the relevant box when ordering tickets, or by emailing us.
Can parents accompany their children?
The workshops themselves are only open to the participants, but on the afternoon of the final day (Saturday 6th August 2016) we will have a big celebration at Sutton House for all family and friends to attend. Find out more here.
